Dr. Patricia Dixon, founding President & Director of NAARI, is an Associate Professor in African American Studies at Georgia State University where she teaches African American male-female relationships. She received her MBA from Howard University and Ph.D. in African American Studies from Temple University. Dr. Dixon is the author of African American Relationships, Marriages and Families: An Introduction & co author with Khalil Osiris of TLC–Talking and Listening with Care: A Communication Guide for Singles and Couples.

Timothy Spear, Executive Vice President & Assistant Director of NAARI, has over 20 years sales and managerial experience in for-profit and non-profit organizations. Generating millions in sales volume, he has won numerous managerial, salesman and customer service awards. Timothy has over 22 years experience in marriage, is the proud father of two grown sons and a daughter and the grandfather of two children.

Dr. Dixon, and Timothy Spear are a husband and wife team who direct NAARI together.
