Dr. Patricia Dixon is Associate Professor in African American Studies at Georgia State University where she teaches African American male-female relationships. She is the author of African American Relationships, Marriages and Families: An Introduction, co-author of TLC–Talking and Listening with Care: A Communication Guide for Singles and Couples and co-creator with of the African American Relationsips and Marriage Strengthening Curriculum (AARMS).

Timothy Spear is the co-creator the African American Relationships, Marriage and Family Strengthing (AARMS) curriculum, is the proud father of two sons and a daughter and the grandfather of two children.
